Plus extra help at a difficult time
As a policyholder of the Primary Health Protector Cash Plan you will have free access to the Serious Illness Service (provided by RED ARC). If you, or any member of your family covered by the Plan, suffer a serious illness, you can speak to a highly experienced personal nurse adviser and obtain detailed information and guidance. This will include factsheets, specialist leaflets, details of relevant charities and support groups.
The service is especially relevant if you or a relative are diagnosed as suffering from, or have had, any of the following conditions:
- Cancer
- Stroke
- Heart Attack
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
- Cognitive Disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease or Alzheimer’s Disease.
You can also access the service for information and advice about family health concerns or disabilities.
The Serious Illness Service is provided by RED ARC Assured Limited, an individual care advisory service. They specialise in providing information, guidance and support for people who suffer a serious illness, chronic condition or disability.
If you would like a home visit from a specialist health professional, therapist or counsellor, RED ARC can arrange this for you.
How you access the service
You can access the service by calling RED ARC on 01273 716700 (this line is not recorded) during normal business hours, Monday to Friday and stating that you are a policyholder of the Primary Health Protector Cash Plan.
What happens when you call:
- You will speak to a Registered Nurse.
- You can ask about any aspect of your condition.
- You can arrange a home visit.
- You can request further information on your condition.
- You can ask for advice on suppliers and equipment.
- The service is free, all you pay for is the call.
